I hope this edition of the NAEPC Journal finds you well and enjoying the summer.

I am excited to present you with the July edition of the NAEPC Journal. This edition of the Journal continues us on our new path of publishing only original, estate planning content.  Dare I say this is our best NAEPC Journal yet – but is surely going to be overtaken by what is already shaping up to be a spectacular December edition.

I also want to take a moment to introduce my new associate editor-in-chief, Mavis McKenley, vice president and senior trust officer at AMG National Trust in Virginia Beach, VA.  I’ve had the pleasure of serving with Mavis on the NAEPC national board of directors.  She is an accomplished and wonderful person.  I am thrilled to have her help with the Journal.  Her input in this edition has been invaluable.

I hope you enjoy this edition of the Journal. My staff and I are very excited about it.
