Letter from the President of the NAEPC
Carol E. Tully, JD, CPA, AEP
President, NAEPC
It is my great pleasure to introduce you to the first edition of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils Journal of Estate and Tax Planning. A part of the mission of the NAEPC is to assist its Affiliated Local Estate Planning Councils and their members by providing a forum to maintain and strengthen their cutting-edge awareness of the continually changing and expanding opportunities and to enhance communication and development of a common language between the five disciplines. The NAEPC Journal is our latest, and I believe greatest, step in accomplishing this mission.
The success of the Journal is tied directly to the NAEPC’s ability to bring this outstanding resource to the members of the local councils. In this effort, we need your help. NAEPC must be able to ensure that all members are aware of and have access to the Journal. We need your permission to email your members to provide an introduction to and link to the Journal. We will be sending you the appropriate forms and our staff will be in touch to gather the appropriate data. Files can be easily transmitted via e-mail or downloaded from an existing level 2 or 3 website. Please be assured, NAEPC will only use the information to advise your membership of the Journal or other new or existing member benefit programs and NAEPC activities. In no case will contact information be offered to or sold to any outside entity, including member benefit partners or other professional organizations.
We appreciate your assistance in helping NAEPC achieve the role as a leader in progressive ideas for professionals and councils. I also wish to extend, on behalf of the NAEPC and myself, a special thank you to Jeff Scroggin, Editor of the Journal, for his outstanding effort in bringing the Journalto fruition.
